STerm 1.1
STerm is a program which makes it possible to use a serial VT100/220/320/420 terminal on the COM port of a windows computer. There are two versions of STerm, a 16-bit version for windows 3.x and a 32 bit version for Windows 95/NT. The 16 bit version is not in development anymore, it only supports telnet. HyperTerminal PE 3.0
HyperTerminal Private Edition is a more powerful version of the HyperTerminal program that comes in Windows 95 and NT 4.0. HyperTerminal PE, on its surface, seems almost identical to HyperTerminal (except for its animated banner screen). Both are speedy 32-bit programs that take full advantage of the Windows 95 and NT 4.0 interface and key features, such as TAPI (Telephony API ) and Unimodem universal modem support. And both support Hilgraeve's CommSense™ feature (US Pat.5,319,776), which automatically identifies and sets parameters such as parity, stop bits and data bits, so users can access new on-line systems simply by entering their phone numbers.
