Hot Corners is a screen utility which enhances your system by allowing you to activate the screen saver, or prevent the screen saver from activating, simply by moving the mouse cursor in a user defined corner of the screen. This proves very useful in many situations. If your screen saver is password protected and you have to leave your desk for a while without wanting anyone to see the information on your screen, you simply move the cursor into the corner and Hot Corners will activate your screen saver within 1 second. The program allows you to define the size of the activate/disable corners, and includes an activation delay option, which makes it harder to accidentally activate the screen saver. The cursor will have to remain in the activation corner for at least the amount of time chosen by the user before Hot Corners considers it an intentional activation. Hot Corners can also be configured to activate the screen saver when a user defined key combination is pressed, making it more convenient for those who don't want to take their hands off the keyboard.
